Yukon Blonde: Friendship & Rock 'N' Roll [DINE ALONE]

Why you'll love it

Yukon Blonde's 2025 album was written in a jam space and recorded at Jeffrey Innes' Midvale Sound, with all four members writing, producing and singing lead. Innes calls it "the easiest and most fun record we've ever had the privilege of making."

About the album

After two decades of friendship, the band went back to basics: each member brought a song to the jam space, explained it briefly, and the others played along until it took shape. Only once the songs held up live did they record, at Innes' Midvale Sound studio near Vancouver.

The result leans on power pop, '70s rock and a lot of singing together. "Adore You" is, in bassist James Younger's words, about "leaving it all out there", and the closing run of "That Girl", "This Night" and "What People Can" sends you off on a high.
