About the album

Street Gospels arrived on August 21, 2007, and it's the sound of Bedouin Soundclash leaving the dancehall for the open road. The reggae and ska roots are all there, but the songs lean toward soul and pop, built on Eon Sinclair's elastic bass and Jay Malinowski's grainy croon.

"Until We Burn In The Sun" opens with a wink (the kids just want a love song), "Walls Fall Down" became a summer radio staple, and "Hearts In The Night" closes the album with the lights low.
