![EKKSTACY: EKKSTACY (smoke vinyl, Dine Alone exclusive) [DINE ALONE]](https://cdn.shoplightspeed.com/shops/621399/files/77966792/1652x1652x2/dine-alone-promo-ekkstacy-ekkstacy-smoke-vinyl-din.jpg)
Dine Alone exclusive smoke vinyl of EKKSTACY's self-titled third album, a variant the label kept for its own shop. Copies limited.
Dine Alone kept this smoke vinyl for its own shop, and it has been sold out there for some time, so we're lucky to have a few copies. Inside is EKKSTACY's third album, with The Kid LAROI on "alright" and Trippie Redd on "problems."
Khyree Zienty, the Vancouver singer behind EKKSTACY, made his name crossing SoundCloud rap with post-punk gloom, and this self-titled LP sharpens that blend. It opens with "i don't have one of those" and tears through "luv of my life" in under two minutes.
He framed the album as an autobiographical look at life as a working musician. It arrived on January 19, 2024, and Dine Alone pressed the Canadian vinyl that August; the closing pair, "the headless horseman lost his way" and "i can't find anyone," end it on a low, aching note.
Bracing, addictive, and packed with life.
Robin Murray, Clash
