Milky clear vinyl of Forever, EKKSTACY's first album with a full band, with a title track that reached Billboard Canada's Modern Rock chart.
Milky clear vinyl of Forever, the first EKKSTACY album recorded with a full band. Its title track debuted at No. 37 on Billboard Canada's Modern Rock Airplay chart.
EKKSTACY wrote Forever at home on his acoustic guitar, then took the demos to Los Angeles to record with a live band for the first time.
The songs work through recovery from substance abuse and a breakup, and the sound widens to match, with post-punk guitars, emo-rap phrasing and bigger, more open choruses. The LP closes with "keep my head down," the second single.
I wrote the whole thing in my house on my acoustic.
