![EKKSTACY: Forever (black & bone merge vinyl, Dine Alone exclusive) [DINE ALONE]](https://cdn.shoplightspeed.com/shops/621399/files/77966797/1652x1652x2/dine-alone-promo-ekkstacy-forever-black-bone-merge.jpg)
Dine Alone exclusive black and bone merge vinyl of EKKSTACY's Forever, his first album with a full band. Copies limited.
Dine Alone kept this black and bone merge vinyl for its own shop, and it sold out there, so we're lucky to have a few copies. Forever is the first EKKSTACY album made with a full band, and its title track reached Billboard Canada's Modern Rock Airplay chart.
EKKSTACY wrote Forever at home on his acoustic guitar, then took the demos to Los Angeles to record with a live band for the first time.
The songs work through recovery from substance abuse and a breakup, and the sound widens to match, with post-punk guitars, emo-rap phrasing and bigger, more open choruses. The LP closes with "keep my head down," the second single.
I wrote the whole thing in my house on my acoustic.
