About the album

The Sadies made Colder Streams mostly at Skybarn in Montreal with Richard Reed Parry, recording alone or in pairs because of pandemic distancing rules. You'd never guess it: the record sounds like four people in a room, all twang, reverb and shared harmonies, every song lean and under four minutes.

It was the band's eleventh album and the last before founding member Dallas Good died in early 2022. It arrived that July to the best reviews of their long career, and "Stop And Start", "Message To Belial" and "End Credits" carry the weight of everything that came after.

the best record that has ever been made by anyone. Ever.
