![City and Colour: Covers Pt. 4 (7") [DINE ALONE]](https://cdn.shoplightspeed.com/shops/621399/files/77765098/1652x1652x2/dine-alone-promo-city-and-colour-covers-pt-4-7-din.jpg)
7" single of Dallas Green covering two Alice In Chains songs, "Rain When I Die" and "Nutshell", one per side.
Dallas Green takes on two Alice In Chains songs here, "Rain When I Die" and "Nutshell". It follows his guest turn singing "Nutshell" with Alice In Chains on stage in Canada.
Covers Pt. 4 came out on November 11, 2025, the fourth in City and Colour's run of cover singles. Green strips the Seattle grunge down to its bones and finds the folk song hiding in each.
"Nutshell" was always fragile, and in Green's hands it sounds even more exposed; "Rain When I Die" trades its sludge for space and echo. A small, heartfelt tribute to a band he clearly loves.
