12" single on bone vinyl: the nine-minute "Woman" backed with Dallas Green's cover of The Posies' "Coming Right Along".
Side B holds Dallas Green's cover of The Posies' "Coming Right Along", found only here. Side A is the full nine-minute "Woman", the epic opener of the No. 1 album If I Should Go Before You.
"Woman" was the first song fans heard from If I Should Go Before You, and it announced a new City and Colour: nine minutes of slow-blooming guitars and a band locked into a single, hypnotic idea.
The flip is a love letter to The Posies, the Seattle power-pop band whose harmonies clearly left a mark. Green keeps the sweetness and slows it right down.
