Wintersleep: Untitled (signed) [DINE ALONE]

Why you'll love it

We were lucky enough to get a handful of copies of Untitled signed by Wintersleep for the Dine Alone takeover. It's the Halifax band's second album, the one with the Juno-nominated cover, and a must for anyone who came in through "Weighty Ghost" or "Amerika" and wants to hear where it began.

About the album

Untitled first came out in February 2005 on Dependent Music, the Yarmouth collective that issued Wintersleep's early records. Laurence Currie produced it with the band, and it moves from the quick jab of "Lipstick" to the seven slow minutes of "Nerves Normal. Breath Normal".

Founding bassist Jud Haynes drew the cover with James Mejia, and it earned a Juno nomination for album artwork. Two years later Welcome To The Night Sky made the band a national name; this is the record that got them there.
