About the album

Up On Gravity Hill keeps the Toronto trio's noise but opens the windows. The six-and-a-half-minute opener "No Reservation / Love Comes Crashing" carries Owen Pallett's violin, and the LP ends on "Light Your Way Home," with Amber Webber singing alongside Alex Edkins.

The band produced it themselves, with Seth Manchester engineering and mixing. Edkins said the first two singles, "99" and "Entwined (Street Light Buzz)," "couldn't be more stylistically and thematically dissimilar," and that range runs through the whole album.
