About the EP

After Heavy Steps, Comeback Kid wanted a palate cleanser, and Trouble is it: four songs, about 13 minutes, a little brighter than the album before. They recorded it with John Paul Peters at Private Ear in Winnipeg, and Will Putney mixed and mastered it.

"Trouble In The Winners Circle" led it off in December 2023, and Andrew Neufeld describes "Chompin' At The Bit" as melodic hardcore with uplifting major-key choruses. The EP came out on March 15, 2024.

Fast, furious, frenzied and fun.
Will Oakeshott, Wall Of Sound
