![Cancer Bats: Bears, Mayors, Scraps & Bones (starburst vinyl) [BAT SKULL RECORDS]](https://cdn.shoplightspeed.com/shops/621399/files/77764967/1652x1652x2/dine-alone-promo-cancer-bats-bears-mayors-scraps-b.jpg)
Juno-nominated third album from Toronto's Cancer Bats on starburst vinyl, closing with their famous cover of the Beastie Boys' "Sabotage". On the band's own Bat Skull Records.
Bears, Mayors, Scraps & Bones earned Cancer Bats a Juno nomination for Rock Album of the Year and reached No. 58 in the UK. It ends with their roaring take on the Beastie Boys' "Sabotage", and this pressing comes on starburst vinyl from the band's own label.
Cancer Bats recorded their third album in 2009 at Metalworks in Mississauga with Eric Ratz and Kenny Luong, and it came out in April 2010. It is the sound of a band that had toured itself hard: hardcore at the core, with sludge and Southern metal in the riffs of "Sleep This Away" and "Snake Mountain".
"Sabotage" came first, as a single and video ahead of the album, and "Dead Wrong" and "Scared To Death" followed. The first vinyl run sold out fast, which is why the band brought the LP back on Bat Skull Records, starting with a Harry Hess remaster for the 10th anniversary.
