Why you'll love it

Broncho's second album carries "Class Historian," the whistled earworm that has turned up in the film Vacation, Santa Clarita Diet and Reservation Dogs. "It's On" played over the closing credits of the Girls season 3 premiere.

  • Dine Alone Records pressing (cat# DAV093)
  • Mastered by Dave Cooley

About the album

Just Enough Hip To Be Woman is short, bright and a little sneery: eleven songs in just over half an hour, most of them built on a simple riff and a hook Ryan Lindsey half-sings and half-shrugs.

The band produced it with Jarod Evans and Chad Copelin, cutting tracks at Sonic Ranch in Texas and Blackwatch in Norman, Oklahoma, before Dave Cooley mastered it. The album came out on Dine Alone in September 2014, and "Class Historian" has kept finding new listeners through film and TV ever since.
