About the album

Karol G could have taken a well-earned rest after Mañana Será Bonito. Instead, six months later and on the eve of a stadium tour, she served up a second helping. Bichota Season arrived on August 11, 2023, ten tight tracks in about 30 minutes, built for summer nights and for the Mañana Será Bonito Tour, which became the highest-grossing Latin tour of all time by a female artist.

"Mi Ex Tenía Razón" debuted at No. 22 on the Hot 100, the highest-charting Spanish-language song ever by a female soloist, and earned Latin Grammy nods for Record and Song of the Year. "Qlona" with Peso Pluma went to No. 1 on Hot Latin Songs, "S91" takes its name from Psalm 91, and fresh remixes of "Provenza" and "Una Noche en Medellín" sit alongside guests Kali Uchis, Young Miko, Dei V, Cris MJ, Ryan Castro and Tiësto.

Ten songs in half an hour is a brisk night out by Karol G standards. The tour, on the other hand, ran for nearly a year, which is about how long it takes us to stop humming "Gatita Gangster."
