![Hermanos Gutiérrez: El Bueno y el Malo [EASY EYE SOUND]](https://cdn.shoplightspeed.com/shops/621399/files/68994045/1652x1652x2/new-vinyl-hermanos-gutierrez-el-bueno-y-el-malo-ea.jpg)
Hermanos Gutiérrez's 2022 album El Bueno y el Malo, cinematic desert guitar instrumentals produced by Dan Auerbach.
El Bueno y el Malo was nominated for Album of the Year at the 2023 Americana Honors, and earned Dan Auerbach part of his Grammy nod for Producer of the Year.
Ecuadorian-Swiss brothers Estevan and Alejandro Gutiérrez make wordless music that sounds like a road trip through the American Southwest at sunset. Recorded with Dan Auerbach at his Nashville studio, El Bueno y el Malo ("The Good and the Bad") centres on the brothers' gorgeous twin-guitar interplay, with light touches of percussion, keys and strings.
Critics compared it to Ennio Morricone's spaghetti western scores, and it's easy to hear why on "Hermosa Drive," "Thunderbird" and the title track. Perfect Sunday-morning listening.
