![Rosalía: El Mal Querer [COLUMBIA]](https://cdn.shoplightspeed.com/shops/621399/files/41520144/1652x1652x2/new-vinyl-rosalia-el-mal-querer-columbia.jpg)
Rosalía's groundbreaking 2018 album El Mal Querer, flamenco reimagined for the 21st century: "Malamente," "Pienso en tu mirá" and "Di mi nombre."
El Mal Querer won the Latin Grammy for Album of the Year and made Rosalía an international star, a bold fusion of flamenco, R&B, pop and electronic music.
Spanish singer Rosalía built El Mal Querer as a concept album in 11 chapters, inspired by a 13th-century Occitan romance, and co-produced it with El Guincho. Handclaps, palmas, flamenco guitar and her stunning voice meet trap beats, samples and dramatic pop production.
"Malamente" is a hypnotic, handclap-driven classic, "Pienso en tu mirá" is sleek and stylish, "Di mi nombre" is gorgeous, and "Bagdad" even weaves in a melody from Justin Timberlake's "Cry Me a River."
