Homeshake: Under The Weather [DINE ALONE]

Why you'll love it

Homeshake's fifth album, on Dine Alone Records. Peter Sagar co-produced it with Lucas Nathan of Jerry Paper and traded the crisp digital sound of Helium for something warmer and hazier.

About the album

Sagar wrote most of Under The Weather in 2019, deep in a long depression, and he has called the result "a bit of a dark pit."

The songs are soft at the edges and heavy underneath: slow R&B grooves, murky synths and Sagar's hushed falsetto, from the opener "Wake Up!" to the closing "Reboot!" Dine Alone put it out on September 10, 2021.
