About the record

Between their 2019 return and Otherness, Alexisonfire put out two songs, and this is the longer, stranger one. "Season Of The Flood" runs nearly seven minutes, moving from a slow, brooding opening into a long climb that lets Dallas Green and George Pettit trade the spotlight.

Karl Bareham produced and engineered it; Jacquire King mixed it; Nick Steinhardt handled the art and design. Dine Alone pressed it on a 10" in 2020, a small, handsome object for a song that sits apart from everything else in their catalogue.
