Counterparts: A Eulogy For Those Still Here (test pressing) [NEW DAMAGE RECORDS]

Why you'll love it

Test pressings are the first discs off the line, the ones a band and label spin to sign off on the sound before the full run gets made. Dine Alone sent us this one for the takeover, and it is a rare way to own Counterparts' Will Putney-produced seventh album.

This edition

• Test pressing from the label's run
• Packaging differs from the retail edition shown
• Single LP, 11 tracks
• Copies limited
• Limit 1 per customer.

About the album

Counterparts formed in Hamilton, Ontario in 2007, and A Eulogy For Those Still Here is their most direct record: eleven short, brutal songs that Will Putney produced, engineered, mixed and mastered himself.

Brendan Murphy wrote "Whispers Of Your Death" for his cat Kuma; the album closes on "A Mass Grave Of Saints", one of the most climactic songs the band has recorded.
