About the album

Produced by Jack White and recorded at Easley-McCain Recording in Memphis in just three days, White Blood Cells captures the duo's raw, tense energy as they moved from blues roots toward a punchier garage rock sound.

"Fell in Love with a Girl" is a two-minute blast of joy, "Hotel Yorba" is a ramshackle singalong, "Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground" stomps, and "We're Going to Be Friends" is one of the sweetest songs Jack ever wrote.
