![The Dirty Nil: The Lash [DINE ALONE]](https://cdn.shoplightspeed.com/shops/621399/files/77742895/1652x1652x2/dine-alone-promo-the-dirty-nil-the-lash-dine-alone.jpg)
Fifth album from Hamilton's The Dirty Nil, led by "Gallop Of The Hounds" and "Rock N' Roll Band". On Dine Alone Records, first out July 2025.
The Lash is The Dirty Nil's newest studio album, and "Gallop Of The Hounds" announced it with a stampede of a riff. Ten songs, all of them built for the stage, from a band that took the Juno for Breakthrough Group of the Year back in 2017.
The Dirty Nil announced The Lash in April 2025 with "Gallop Of The Hounds", and the album followed on July 25. It is their fifth full-length, and the first with bassist Anthony Vitanza alongside founders Luke Bentham and Kyle Fisher.
"Rock N' Roll Band" and "Spider Dream" came out ahead of release, and the songs went straight into the live set; several turned up a few months later on Live At The Dine Alone Store. The LP closes on "I Was A Henchman".
