![The Cure: Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me (2LP) [ELEKTRA]](https://cdn.shoplightspeed.com/shops/621399/files/49606900/1652x1652x2/new-vinyl-the-cure-kiss-me-kiss-me-kiss-me-2lp-ele.jpg)
Sprawling and glorious, The Cure's 1987 double album Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me on 2LP: "Just Like Heaven," "Why Can't I Be You?," "Catch" and "Hot Hot Hot!!!"
Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me shows every side of the Cure in one glorious package, from dark epics to giddy pop, and "Just Like Heaven" is one of their most beloved songs.
Recorded at Studio Miraval in the south of France, the double album finds Robert Smith and the band roaming from gothic drama and psychedelia to funk, soul horns and bright, jangling pop.
"Just Like Heaven" is a swooning classic, "Why Can't I Be You?" is a brassy blast, "Catch" is wistful and sweet, "Hot Hot Hot!!!" funks, and "The Kiss" opens with a storm of guitar.
Four sides, all worth flipping.
