Island In The Sun reaches vinyl for the first time for its 15th anniversary, pressed on seafoam green for RSD Black Friday. The 2011 album reached No. 13 on Billboard's Top Rap Albums and carries the single "You Could Be My Girl."
Malibu rapper Shwayze and singer-producer Cisco Adler made their name with sunny, laid-back party songs, and Island In The Sun, their third album together, leaned right into it in 2011.
From the title track through "Golden Dreams" and "Summertime Music," it plays like a beach afternoon, mixing easy hooks with Adler's guitar.
