About the album

Reuniting with Crazy Horse and new rhythm guitarist Frank Sampedro, Neil Young made Zuma a return to the loose, electric country-rock and heavy guitar sound of Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere.

"Cortez the Killer" is a towering, hypnotic seven-and-a-half minute masterpiece, "Danger Bird" soars with long, searing solos, "Don't Cry No Tears" is catchy and bright, and "Barstool Blues" and "Drive Back" rock hard.

Neil and Crazy Horse at their raggedly glorious best. "Cortez the Killer" alone is worth the trip.
