![Neil Young: Mirror Ball (2LP) [REPRISE]](https://cdn.shoplightspeed.com/shops/621399/files/75791213/1652x1652x2/new-vinyl-neil-young-mirror-ball-2lp-reprise.jpg)
Neil Young's 1995 album Mirror Ball on 2LP, recorded with Pearl Jam as his backing band: "I'm the Ocean," "Downtown" and "Act of Love."
Mirror Ball unites the Godfather of Grunge with Pearl Jam for a loose, loud, ragged and joyous record, cut in just a few days in Seattle.
Produced by Brendan O'Brien and recorded quickly in Seattle, Mirror Ball pairs Neil Young's raw songwriting and wild guitar with the muscle of Pearl Jam, capturing the spontaneous, live energy that both are known for.
"I'm the Ocean" is a sprawling, seven-minute highlight, "Downtown" is a rollicking, playful single, "Act of Love" grinds, and "Peace and Love," co-written with Eddie Vedder, builds with passion.
Two generations of plaid, one room in Seattle.
