Miley Cyrus's 2025 ninth album Something Beautiful, a visual album with "End of the World," "Easy Lover" and the title track.
This pressing comes in a gatefold jacket, pressed in the EU. The album reached the top 10 in the US and the UK and was nominated for Best Pop Vocal Album at the 68th Grammy Awards.
Pink Floyd's The Wall is an unusual starting point for a pop record, but that's where Miley Cyrus says this one began: a visual album about healing, with a companion film arriving a week after the record. She first pictured intimate shows in forests before deciding the film would be her way of touring.
She executive produced it with Shawn Everett and pulled in a wonderfully varied crew, including Toronto's own Molly Rankin and Alec O'Hanley of Alvvays, Danielle Haim, Flea, Pino Palladino and Adam Granduciel of the War on Drugs, with Naomi Campbell and Brittany Howard as guests. "End of the World" was the lead single, "Easy Lover" followed, and "Prelude" sets the scene.
Critics praised its ambition and introspection, and it went to No. 1 in Austria. A pop star, two members of Alvvays and a supermodel walk into a studio, and the punchline turns out to be a very good record.
