About the album

Rock bands aren't supposed to come from a song contest, but Måneskin never seemed too bothered about what they were supposed to do. After their Eurovision win, the Rome four piece of Damiano David, Victoria De Angelis, Thomas Raggi and Ethan Torchio went to work on what they called their debut international album, recording around 50 songs before choosing the keepers.

They co-wrote and co-produced with Max Martin, Rami Yacoub, Mattman & Robin, Captain Cuts and Fabrizio Ferraguzzo, mixing English and Italian across loud, glam-flavoured pop rock. "Gossip" brings in Tom Morello's guitar, "Baby Said" and "Bla Bla Bla" strut, and the ballad "The Loneliest" became their second No. 1 in Italy. "La Fine" and "Il Dono Della Vita" keep the home language in the mix.

They took it around the world on the Rush! World Tour. Leather trousers remain, as far as we can tell, compulsory.
