![Jungle: Jungle [XL RECORDINGS]](https://cdn.shoplightspeed.com/shops/621399/files/33633726/1652x1652x2/new-vinyl-jungle-jungle-xl-recordings.jpg)
Jungle's sunny, funky 2014 debut album, Mercury Prize-nominated: "Busy Earnin'," "The Heat," "Platoon" and "Time."
Jungle's debut was shortlisted for the Mercury Prize and turned the London collective into festival favourites. "Busy Earnin'" and "Time" are irresistible.
Childhood friends Josh Lloyd-Watson and Tom McFarland built Jungle around one simple idea: make music that feels good. Their debut blends '70s soul and disco, '80s funk and modern production, with breezy falsetto vocals, horn stabs and grooves you can't sit still to.
"Busy Earnin'" is pure, horn-blasting joy, "The Heat" and "Platoon" are effortlessly cool, and "Time" and "Julia" are made for summer evenings. Put it on and the party starts.
