Indie Exclusive on desert peach vinyl of Jungle's fifth album, their first with Lydia Kitto as an official member: "Carry On," "The Wave" and "Someday, Somewhere."
This is the indie shop pressing on desert peach vinyl. Sunshine is Jungle's first album with longtime singer Lydia Kitto as a full member, and "The Wave" pulls in the breezy Brazilian music of the '60s and '70s.
Jungle have always made music that sounds like the best part of a summer afternoon, so it was only a matter of time before they called an album Sunshine. Their fifth arrived on their own Caiola label in August of 2026, and it's the first one with longtime collaborator Lydia Kitto officially in the band, her voice now front and centre alongside the trademark falsetto of founders Josh Lloyd-Watson and Tom McFarland.
The singles map out the mood: "Carry On" premiered live on BBC Radio 1, "The Wave" borrows the easy sway of '60s and '70s Brazilian records, and "Someday, Somewhere" is about "holding onto that feeling that something better is coming." Kitto says the lyrics can read happy or sad depending on where you're standing, which is pretty much the Jungle formula: you'll be dancing before you notice you're a little bit wistful.
