About the album

Jade Thirlwall spent a decade in Little Mix, one of the biggest girl groups Britain has produced, and then dropped her surname to go solo, partly so people would stop misspelling it. She signed with RCA in 2022 and spent three years writing what she has said was hundreds of songs, working with Cirkut, Lostboy, MNEK, Raye and Mike Sabath among others.

The result is pop with a wink, pulling in disco, electroclash and synth-pop. "Angel of My Dreams" went top ten and Platinum in the UK, "Fantasy," "Plastic Box" and "Unconditional" kept the run going, and "FUFN (F*** You for Now)" is as cheerfully blunt as it sounds. The Encore adds "Church," the dance-floor anthem "This Is What We Dance For" and that "Frozen" cover, a new finale for the whole era.

Critics loved the way it tracks her journey from talent-show winner to solo star. Self-described student of pop that she is, she even managed to make a deluxe edition feel like a curtain call rather than a sequel.
