![Sabrina Carpenter: Man's Best Friend [ISLAND]](https://cdn.shoplightspeed.com/shops/621399/files/73059792/1652x1652x2/new-vinyl-sabrina-carpenter-mans-best-friend-islan.jpg)
Sabrina Carpenter's 2025 follow-up to Short n' Sweet, a cheeky '70s-tinged pop record with No. 1 smash "Manchild" and "Tears."
Man's Best Friend went to No. 1 in Canada, the U.S., the U.K. and more than a dozen other countries, and picked up six Grammy nominations including Album of the Year. "Manchild" topped the charts in the U.S., U.K. and Ireland.
Barely a year after Short n' Sweet made her one of the biggest pop stars on the planet, Sabrina Carpenter was back, and not remotely interested in slowing down. For Man's Best Friend she kept the crew tight (Jack Antonoff, John Ryan and songwriter Amy Allen) and stepped up as co-producer on every track.
The sound reaches back to '70s pop and soft rock, all warm keys and sly, cheeky lyrics, with "Manchild" leading the charge straight to No. 1 and "Tears" not far behind. It topped the charts here in Canada too and picked up six Grammy nominations, Album of the Year among them. Not bad for a girl who once played Disney Channel's sidekick.
