About the album

Zach Braff hand-picked the songs for his 2004 film like a personal mixtape, mixing indie favourites with gentle classics, and the result became one of the most beloved soundtracks of its era.

The Shins' "New Slang" is the film's heart, Iron & Wine's hushed cover of "Such Great Heights" is gorgeous, Frou Frou's "Let Go" soars, and Simon & Garfunkel's "The Only Living Boy in New York" and Nick Drake's "One of These Things First" are perfect.

The Shins will change your life; the film said so, and we see no reason to argue.
