About the album

Yoko Kanno's music for the 1998 anime Cowboy Bebop is one of the most beloved soundtracks ever made, a whirlwind of bebop, big band, blues, funk and rock played by her own band, the Seatbelts. When Netflix made its live-action version in 2021, Kanno came back to write and record a whole new score with the band.

It's a joy from start to finish. "Tank!" opens disc two with its famous horn blasts, and around it you'll find swinging jazz, slinky noir, groovy funk and blues, all played with the same jam-session spirit as the original. A must for bounty hunters, jazz cats and anime fans alike. See you, space cowboy.
