Why you'll love it

You're Living All Over Me is one of the cornerstones of alternative rock, pairing J Mascis's drawling vocals with towering walls of guitar that paved the way for grunge.

About the album

J Mascis, Lou Barlow and Murph made their second album a ferociously loud and surprisingly melodic record, with Mascis's sky-scraping, distorted solos and lazy vocals over Barlow's heavy bass and Murph's pummelling drums.

"Little Fury Things" bursts open with feedback and a huge hook, "The Lung" and "Raisans" roar, "Sludgefeast" lives up to its name, and "In a Jar" is a fuzzy, catchy gem.

One of the cornerstones of American indie rock, on coloured vinyl. Living all over the shelf.
