![Weezer: Weezer (Green Album) [GEFFEN]](https://cdn.shoplightspeed.com/shops/621399/files/33619259/1652x1652x2/new-vinyl-weezer-weezer-green-album-geffen.jpg)
Weezer's 2001 comeback, the Green Album, produced by Ric Ocasek: "Island in the Sun," "Hash Pipe," "Photograph" and "Don't Let Go."
The Green Album brought Weezer roaring back after a five-year break, with "Island in the Sun" becoming one of their most beloved songs.
Reuniting with Ric Ocasek, who produced their Blue Album debut, Weezer made a lean, sunny, 28-minute burst of power pop, the only album with bassist Mikey Welsh.
"Island in the Sun" is breezy and perfect, "Hash Pipe" crunches with a grungy riff, "Photograph" and "Don't Let Go" are pure hooks, and "Knock-Down Drag-Out" and "Simple Pages" keep the energy high.
