![Wayne Shorter: Speak No Evil (Blue Note 85 Blue Vinyl) [BLUE NOTE]](https://cdn.shoplightspeed.com/shops/621399/files/64908012/1652x1652x2/wayne-shorter-speak-no-evil-blue-note-85-blue-viny.jpg)
Wayne Shorter's 1966 Blue Note masterpiece Speak No Evil on blue vinyl, Blue Note 85 Classic Vinyl series, with Freddie Hubbard, Herbie Hancock, Ron Carter and Elvin Jones.
Speak No Evil is one of the finest albums in the Blue Note catalogue, a haunting, beautifully composed blend of hard bop and modal jazz.
Recorded while Shorter was a member of Miles Davis's mid-60s quintet, the album brings together a dream band and some of his most original, mysterious compositions, inspired by folklore and dark fairy tales.
"Witch Hunt" opens with a commanding fanfare, "Fee-Fi-Fo-Fum" is playful and sly, the title track swings with tension, and "Infant Eyes" is one of the most beautiful ballads in jazz.
Speak no evil; there's none to speak of.
