About the album

When a 22-year-old Norah Jones signed to Blue Note, nobody expected a jazz label to have the biggest debut of the decade on its hands. But Come Away with Me, produced by the legendary Arif Mardin, struck a chord all over the world: a warm, intimate blend of jazz, folk, country and soul, sung in that soft, smoky voice over piano, brushed drums and gentle guitar.

"Don't Know Why" won Record of the Year, the title track and "Turn Me On" are timeless, and covers of Hank Williams' "Cold, Cold Heart" and Hoagy Carmichael's "The Nearness of You" fit right in alongside her own songs. It swept the Grammys and is one of the best-selling albums of the 21st century. This anniversary edition is remastered for vinyl.
