Radiohead singer Thom Yorke's 2006 solo debut The Eraser, produced by Nigel Godrich: "Black Swan," "Harrowdown Hill," "Analyse" and the title track.
The Eraser is a gripping electronic solo debut from Radiohead's frontman, intimate and anxious, with skittering beats and some of his most beautiful melodies.
Built from laptop beats, loops and piano during a Radiohead break, the album pairs glitchy, minimal electronics with Yorke's fragile, soaring voice and lyrics of unease.
The title track opens with a chopped piano loop, "Black Swan" grooves darkly, "Analyse" is gentle and melancholy, "Harrowdown Hill" pulses with urgency, and "Atoms for Peace" glows.
Thom Yorke's electronic solo debut. Erased nothing; added plenty.
