About the album

Ian Brown, John Squire, Mani and Reni combined 60s jangle, psychedelia and the swagger of the late-80s dance scene into something brand new, and their 1989 debut is one of the most loved British albums ever. This collection rounds up its highlights alongside non-album singles and later favourites.

"I Wanna Be Adored" and "She Bangs the Drums" are glorious, "Fools Gold" is a hypnotic, funky masterpiece, "Waterfall" and "Made of Stone" shimmer, "Love Spreads" rocks hard, and "I Am the Resurrection" is an epic finale.
