![Various Artists: The Breakfast Club (Soundtrack) [A&M]](https://cdn.shoplightspeed.com/shops/621399/files/33149676/1652x1652x2/new-vinyl-various-artists-the-breakfast-club-sound.jpg)
John Hughes's The Breakfast Club soundtrack from 1985, led by Simple Minds' "Don't You (Forget About Me)" with Wang Chung, Karla DeVito and Keith Forsey's score.
John Hughes's beloved teen classic came with an iconic soundtrack, and Simple Minds' "Don't You (Forget About Me)" became a No. 1 hit and an 80s anthem.
Produced largely by Keith Forsey, who co-wrote "Don't You (Forget About Me)," the soundtrack mixes 80s new wave, synth-pop and rock with Forsey's own instrumental themes from the film.
"Don't You (Forget About Me)" is unforgettable, Wang Chung's "Fire in the Twilight" is pure 80s energy, Karla DeVito's "We Are Not Alone" soundtracks the famous dance scene, and Forsey's "Love Theme" is dreamy.
