About the album

Recorded at Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks's home studio in Jacksonville, Florida, and co-produced by Trucks with Jim Scott, Revelator blends blues, soul, gospel and Southern rock, with Tedeschi's powerful voice and Trucks's stunning slide guitar out front.

"Midnight in Harlem" is a gorgeous, slow-burning favourite, "Bound for Glory" and "Come See About Me" swing with horns and soul, and "Learn How to Love" and "Love Has Something Else to Say" show off the band's power.

Recorded at home in Jacksonville, which must make for very lively dinners.
