About the album

Kevin Parker wrote, played, produced and mixed The Slow Rush almost entirely on his own, and it's his most polished and danceable record yet, built on psychedelic disco, soft rock, funk and shimmering synths. Its themes revolve around the passing of time.

"Borderline" and "Lost in Yesterday" are dreamy, groove-heavy hits, "Breathe Deeper" bounces with house piano, and "One More Year" and "One More Hour" bookend the album beautifully.
