About the album

Bradley Nowell, Eric Wilson and Bud Gaugh mixed punk energy, laid-back reggae grooves, dub, ska and hip hop sampling with Nowell's soulful, easygoing voice.

"Badfish" is a mellow, much-loved anthem, "Smoke Two Joints" is a reggae favourite, their cover of "Scarlet Begonias" floats, and "54-46 That's My Number / Ball and Chain" pays tribute to their Jamaican heroes.

A beloved cult classic that defined California ska-punk. Sun-soaked and still essential.
