About the album

Bradley Nowell, Eric Wilson and Bud Gaugh blended Long Beach punk, ska, dub, reggae and hip-hop into a laid-back, sun-soaked style all their own, and their self-titled record is the one that made them household names.

"Santeria" is an all-time singalong, "What I Got" is breezy and irresistible, "Wrong Way" bounces with horns, and "Doin' Time" floats on a Gershwin "Summertime" sample. A beach-day essential.
