![The Smashing Pumpkins: Rotten Apples (2LP, greatest hits) [VIRGIN / UME]](https://cdn.shoplightspeed.com/shops/621399/files/64906321/1652x1652x2/the-smashing-pumpkins-rotten-apples-2lp-greatest-h.jpg)
2LP of the Smashing Pumpkins' greatest hits Rotten Apples: "1979," "Today," "Tonight, Tonight," "Bullet with Butterfly Wings" and "Disarm."
Rotten Apples gathers 18 songs from the Pumpkins' '90s heyday, including the previously unheard "Untitled," their final recording before the original farewell show in Chicago.
Billy Corgan, James Iha, D'arcy Wretzky and Jimmy Chamberlin made some of the biggest, most beautiful rock records of the '90s, and Rotten Apples puts the best of them on two LPs, from the early fuzz of "Siva" and "Rhinoceros" to the gothic gloss of Adore and Machina.
"Cherub Rock," "Today" and "Disarm" from Siamese Dream, "Bullet with Butterfly Wings," "1979," "Zero" and "Tonight, Tonight" from Mellon Collie, plus "Drown," "Eye," "Ava Adore" and "Stand Inside Your Love." A perfect introduction, and a great party record for fans.
