Rush's 1982 synth-era classic Signals: "Subdivisions," "New World Man," "The Analog Kid" and "Countdown."
Signals saw Canada's greatest power trio embrace synthesizers and tighter songs, and "Subdivisions" and "New World Man" are among their most enduring tracks.
Following Moving Pictures, Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson and Neil Peart moved toward a sleeker, keyboard-rich sound on Signals, writing thoughtful songs about suburbia, technology and growing up, with Peart's lyrics as sharp as ever.
"Subdivisions" is a towering anthem for anyone who grew up in the suburbs, "New World Man" became their biggest US hit, "The Analog Kid" races along, and "Countdown" captures the thrill of a space shuttle launch.
