![Red Hot Chili Peppers: Blood Sugar Sex Magik (2LP, 180g) [WARNER]](https://cdn.shoplightspeed.com/shops/621399/files/33620151/1652x1652x2/new-vinyl-red-hot-chili-peppers-blood-sugar-sex-ma.jpg)
Red Hot Chili Peppers' 1991 breakthrough Blood Sugar Sex Magik, produced by Rick Rubin: "Under the Bridge," "Give It Away" and "Breaking the Girl." 2LP on 180-gram vinyl.
On order
Blood Sugar Sex Magik made the Chili Peppers global superstars, selling more than 13 million copies, and "Give It Away" won a Grammy.
Recorded with Rick Rubin in a reportedly haunted Los Angeles mansion, Blood Sugar Sex Magik dialled back the metal riffs and let John Frusciante's melodic, funky guitar and Flea's incredible bass playing shine. Anthony Kiedis and Chad Smith complete a band at the peak of its powers.
"Under the Bridge" is a gorgeous, heartfelt ballad and their biggest hit, "Give It Away" is a funk-rock explosion, "Breaking the Girl" is moody and beautiful, and "If You Have to Ask" and "Funky Monks" are irresistible grooves.
