About the album

Working with producers including Andrew Weatherall, The Orb and Jimmy Miller, Bobby Gillespie's band traded indie rock for a blissed-out blend of house, dub, gospel, psychedelia and Stones-style rock and roll.

"Movin' On Up" is a joyous gospel-rock opener, "Loaded" is a sample-laden dancefloor classic, "Come Together" is a ten-minute celebration, and "Higher than the Sun" floats into the cosmos.

Indie kids, meeting the dance floor halfway. Arms in the air are permitted in the aisles.
