![Paul & Linda McCartney: Ram [CAPITOL / MPL]](https://cdn.shoplightspeed.com/shops/621399/files/59492532/1652x1652x2/new-vinyl-paul-linda-mccartney-ram-capitol-mpl.jpg)
Paul and Linda McCartney's 1971 home-grown pop masterpiece Ram: "Uncle Albert / Admiral Halsey," "Too Many People," "Heart of the Country" and "The Back Seat of My Car."
Ram topped the UK charts, "Uncle Albert / Admiral Halsey" became a US number one, and the album has grown into one of the most beloved records of McCartney's career.
Recorded in New York with session players including guitarists David Spinozza and Hugh McCracken and drummer Denny Seiwell, Ram is Paul McCartney at his most playful and inventive, full of homespun charm, rich harmonies with Linda and beautifully crafted melodies.
"Uncle Albert / Admiral Halsey" is a whimsical multi-part gem, "Too Many People" and "Monkberry Moon Delight" rock with abandon, "Heart of the Country" is sweet and breezy, and "The Back Seat of My Car" is a soaring, Beach Boys-style finale.
