About the album

Paul McCartney wanted to get back to the Beatles' rock and roll roots, so in January 1969 the band set up first at Twickenham Film Studios and then in the basement of Apple on Savile Row, with Billy Preston joining on keys and the cameras rolling. The sessions ended with the famous rooftop concert, and Phil Spector later shaped the album that came out in 1970.

"Let It Be," "The Long and Winding Road," "Across the Universe," "Get Back," "Two of Us" and "I've Got a Feeling" are timeless. Giles Martin's new mix brings the band right into the room with you.
